What exactly is a regional scholarship in Italy?+
Each Italian region has a body that funds the Diritto allo Studio Universitario (DSU), the right to university study. Eligible students can receive a tuition waiver, a yearly cash grant and meal and housing support. It is based mainly on financial need and academic progress, not on a competitive national prize.
Can Pakistani students really apply?+
Yes. Non-EU students can apply to regional DSU scholarships. You will need to prove your family's income and assets using a document called ISEE parificato, and certain documents must be legalised and translated. Rules and deadlines vary by region and year, so we always verify the current call before you apply.
Is the scholarship guaranteed if I use a consultant?+
No. Anyone who promises a guaranteed scholarship or visa is not being honest. Awards are decided by the regional bodies and visas by the Italian embassy. What we do is make your application complete, accurate and on time, which is where most students lose out.
How much money do I need to show for the student visa?+
Italy requires proof that you can support yourself while studying, currently in the region of €6,000+ per year, updated annually. A scholarship or housing arrangement can help. We will confirm the latest figure for your intake.
Do I need to speak Italian?+
Not necessarily. Many universities offer full degrees in English, and you will typically need IELTS or an equivalent. We recommend learning basic Italian anyway because it makes daily life, part-time work and settling in much easier.
When should I start?+
As early as possible. Universitaly pre-enrolment for autumn intakes usually runs from early in the year, regional scholarship calls usually open in summer, and document legalisation takes weeks. Starting 8–12 months before your intake is ideal.
Can I work while studying in Italy?+
Student visa holders are generally allowed to work part-time within legal limits. A scholarship plus careful budgeting is still the safest foundation for your first year.
How much do your services cost?+
